Guide for New Players Welcome to Helheim RO! If you're just starting your adventure, this guide will provide you with key steps to progress efficiently and make the most of your gaming experience.
Essential Steps for New Players
Complete Your Rebirth Once you've reached level 99 with your first class, perform your Rebirth. This will reset you to a lower level (1/1 High Novice) but grant you bonus stats and unlock new skills available to Rebirth classes.
Reach Level 81 for Eveil Quests After your Rebirth, progress to level 81 to access the Eveil Quests. These quests provide essential bonuses and valuable rewards to strengthen your character.
3. Level Up to 250 Your primary goal is to reach level 250 (the last 5 levels are designed to be challenging with reduced EXP gain). While it's not the maximum level, it is a prerequisite for further progression. Reaching this level unlocks the full potential of your class and allows you to participate in high-level content.
4. Farm the Munster Hunter and Central Lab Instances These two instances are essential for gathering the materials needed to craft Sarvi equipment.
Munster Hunter: Collect the unique resources specific to this instance.
Central Lab: Another crucial source of materials to enhance your gear.
5. Farm Helheim RO Coins Helheim RO Coins are a valuable currency you’ll need to use on the server.
How to obtain Helheim RO Coins?
Farming Special Mobs: Special mobs such as Elusive, Furious, Ringleader, Solid, and Swift reward you with Helheim RO Coins.
Bounty Chests: Found on MVP maps, these chests give you a chance to earn Helheim RO Coins.
Daily Quests: Completing daily quests also rewards you with Helheim RO Coins. These quests are an excellent way to accumulate this currency while diversifying your gameplay.
By combining these methods, you’ll be able to gather a substantial amount of Helheim RO Coins.
6. Vote for the Server Each vote for Helheim RO rewards you with voting points, which can be exchanged for useful items like Bubble Gum or HE Bubble Gum. These items increase your drop rates, making farming much easier.
7. Farm Aegis Gear through MVPs Aside from instances, MVPs are an excellent source of materials to craft your Egide Weapon. Join groups or face them solo if you're well-prepared.
8. Complete the Bio Tech & OGH Instances The Bio Tech and OGH instances are high-level challenges that offer valuable rewards. Prepare your group and dive into these unique environments to maximize your gains.
9. Reduce After Cast Delay (ACD) After Cast Delay (ACD) is a crucial factor to optimize for improving your combat efficiency. By reducing ACD, you can chain your skills faster, increasing your DPS (damage per second) and enhancing your gameplay fluidity. To fully enjoy your adventure on Helheim RO, it's strongly recommended to enchant your gear with options that reduce ACD.
Sources of ACD Reduction
Kiel Card: This MVP card offers a significant reduction in ACD. It's a must-have for players looking to optimize skill spamming. Tip: Look for this card during MVP farming sessions or through player trades/purchases.
OGH Enchantments (Old Glast Heim): Enchantments obtained from the OGH instance also provide a substantial ACD reduction (-20%). These boosts can make a noticeable difference in your skill rotations.
Basic Enchantments: Even basic enchantments available on your equipment offer an interesting ACD reduction (-15%). These options are accessible and highly effective for building a balanced setup, especially for beginners. Tip: Plan your enchantments carefully to balance ACD reduction with other essential stats for your class, such as ATK, MATK, or HIT.
By effectively reducing your ACD, you'll be better equipped to tackle all the challenges Helheim RO has to offer, whether in instances or PvP. Don’t overlook this key aspect to become a formidable player!
Important Tips
Don’t Forget to Save Your Enchantments When upgrading your Sarvi gear, all applied enchantments will be removed. Before proceeding with an evolution, visit Arkan in the capital to save your enchantments. This will allow you to reapply them to your new gear after the upgrade.
Start with basic enchantments and explore instances to gather resources. Gradually equip yourself with OGH enchantments and, if possible, obtain a Kiel Card to complete your build.
Control Panel The control panel on Helheim RO is a tool that allows players to customize their gaming experience according to their preferences. It can be accessed directly in-game through an NPC located in the capital.
Available Options
Here are the features you can enable, disable, or modify from the control panel:
Channels: Enable or disable in-game chat channels.
Auto Loot: Activate or deactivate automatic item pickup.
No KS (Kill Steal): Prevents other players from interacting with the monsters you've engaged.
No ASK: Blocks friend or party requests.
Show Delay: Displays the cooldowns of your skills.
Show EXP: View experience gained in real-time.
Show Zeny: Track your Zeny earnings.
Time: Displays the server time upon login.
Rate: Shows experience, drop rates, and other important server statistics upon login.
Homunculus Info: Get details about your Homunculus (stats, skills, level, etc.).
Block EXP: Activate this option to block experience gain—ideal for characters aiming to participate in WoE 99/70.
Language: Change the interface language according to your preferences. Available languages are French and English. You can switch languages at any time using the
@languagecommand.@Alootid: Configure specific item IDs you want to auto-loot using the
@alootidcommand.
